Hi Guys, soz and Gals ;),

I am trying to alter the Detail Page image to approx 325px to create a better balance between text and image on a page width of 680px

However despite uploading an image @ 325x325 with 'Change size during upload' Unticked, the image is still displayed at 200x200 in the product view. I've tried several times, different browsers etc but no joy >:( If this doen't work, what exactly is the point of the tickbox?

I am more than happy with css code , and have amended several other page elements via this method but the 200px is in the HTML Code (style element), not set by css.  :(

Is there any way I can change it or am I doing something wrong with my uploading?  :-\

Thanks in desperation

Nigel

Hi Nigel,

We have been able to upload an image bigger than 200x200 and it has saved it ok. We will need to test your eshop and try to replicate the issue. Can you please log into the daily account and click on Support > Create Ticket and send your request through there to test your eshop. Can you please give us authorisation to upload an image on a particular product and we will test this for you.

Regards,

Doran

Did you get a definitive answer for this as I am having the same problem.  I need my image to be about 300deep really in detail view, but as Nigel said, even when you untick the tickbox, it still resizes the image back to only 200deep. A dress is tall and thin, so the product looks wrong at this tiny dimension.

Hi, simple answer no!.
I have tried various method of tweaking but no luck and despite searching many shops that run on the e-pages platform I have yet to find one that has anything other than the 200x220 image size.

To be honest I'm secretly hoping someone will prove me wrong  ;)

I found a workaround, and it works especially if you have more than one image to display.  I created my larger size image, then used the simple "Insert Image" option in the text description wysiwig and anchored it right.  Then I uploaded the "other" images into the normal detail images section (including the original image too).

That way, you get to see the image larger in the detail view with the option to see the "other" images too.

A bit more work but at least you can get your picture larger !

Thanks Jane, it works, I had been doing something similar - imbedding video into the text, (Example here) but never gave a thought to adding images   ::).
