Foreign (Europe) and (Other) Transactions

Has anybody been able to create a site that allows European and Rest of World Customers to shop, and have a way to checkout correctly for the country they are in, with the correct shipping etc.

We only ship small parcels (under 2kg) so can work the Royal Mail table, but how do you create the countries and currencies etc.

I dont really expect the customer to decide which mail service to use, as they will always try to get the cheaper service.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I don't think its possible to detect the location of the customer, so having the shop automatically select the correct delivery charges sounds unlikely.

You can on the delivery options change the wording they see, so, for example you could have one delivery option as - UK only and then another for - EU rest of the world.

This does depend on the customer selecting the correct delivery option though, so isn't ideal.
